Talk: Compassionate Communication - Part 4 - Requests

24 minutes | We continue a series on compassionate communication. In this session we discuss the how to work with requests of others to assist us with meeting our needs. The skills of identifying needs, feelings, and judgments help us in making requests that foster connection rather than separation. These talks rely heavily on the principles of Non-Violent Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg and further developed by Thom Bond in the Compassion Course Online. A needs list is referenced in the talk and can be found here. A list of feelings can be found here. Photo by Wynand van Poortvliet on Unsplash
