Talk: The Power of Staying

28 minutes | We can use the sensations of agitation or discomfort as an anchor for meditation. When we do, maintaining a sense of witness, we start to observe beliefs and stories that are habitual and keep us stuck. As we stay longer, these stories and beliefs start to unravel, to lose their power, and a new sense of reality can open up. The poem offered at the end of the meditation exercise is "Unconditional" by Jennifer Welwood. Photo by Rebecca Peterson-Hall on Unsplash
